Nina Canell

I first became aware of Swedish artist Nina Canell at Art Sheffield in 2010. Her show at Bloc was strange, simple and wonderful.

Her pieces are frequently the outcome of playful experimentation with arrangements, substances and objects. She turns invisible energies into tangible forms.

Recently she was part of the Liverpool Biennial 2010.
