DALeast's simple yet beautiful graphic style
" 'springboks' cape town-south africa 2011"
Du Yi more notably know as DALeast or DAL DALeast's simple yet beautiful graphic style is intoxicating. DAL seems to focus on almost a reduction of form just to allow a fantastic bit of imagery to come thorough.
" 'parking' cape town-south africa 2011"
DAL's website statement reads, "Du Yi landed on this planet in 1984 in China, he then decided to live as an artist in this life. He studied sculpture at the Institute of Fine Arts and began doing street art at 2004 under the alias DAL. He is inspired by the way the material world revolves, how the spiritual world unfolds, life’s emotions and the infinite space around us. He uses different mediums, methods, disciplines and spaces to create his works. " Too see more form this page click the link HERE

Overall DAL's work is exciting and a pleasure to see. His attention to detail combined with his understanding of form, structure and site allows the work to really stand out a the space.
Check out more works at DAL's website. Or for more images from DAL follow the jump, Enjoy!
